Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 August 2026
1. The Service
visitto.me provides individualised link tracking: short links, per-recipient tracked codes, QR codes, click analytics, and a public API. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create links or content that:
- are unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringe others' rights;
- distribute malware, phishing, or spam, or facilitate abuse;
- host or point to sexually exploitative, hateful, or harassing material;
- circumvent our rate limits, security, or quota controls, or misrepresent a destination.
We may disable links, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or present a risk to the Service or others.
4. Plans, billing & refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Fees are stated on our pricing page and exclude taxes unless noted. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from the billing portal and retain access until the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
5. API use
API access is subject to the scopes, quotas, and rate limits tied to your plan. You are responsible for the security of your API keys and for all calls made with them. We may throttle or revoke keys to protect the Service.
6. Your content & data
You retain ownership of the links, destinations, and recipient data you submit. You grant us the licence needed to operate the Service (store, process, and serve your links and analytics). You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis for any personal data you upload, and for complying with applicable law when tracking recipients.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Penned Ltd and protected by law. These terms grant you no rights in our IP beyond the right to use the Service as permitted.
8. Availability & disclaimers
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analytics will be complete or perfectly accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your links may stop resolving and your data may be deleted after a reasonable period.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
